Allison Tranny

Hi - I have a 2004 Newmar 4010 with Cummins ISL 370 HP motor.

Anyone know what model my Allison Transmission would be? Manual covers a few different ones
Thanks

You have the Allison 3000 which is pretty much the "gold standard". More than likely you have Transynd transmission fluid. You should be on a schedule to change the filters every 36 months and have a sample of the fluid tested annually. This supposes that you do have Transynd.

I would also say the 3000 as above. I took mine to a diesel trans shop in Denver and had them change filters and fluid. You can call Newmar customer service and w/ the coach # they can tell you what chassis you have and what trans it is! It's either a Spartan or Freightliner chassis.
