AM/FM roof ant replacement

Hello everyone,

Has anybody replaced the AM/FM ant. on the roof? I am not able to screw on new whip ant, as my ant broke off at the base. 2005 Mountain Aire I have the complete assy. from Newmar. I need to get at the underside (base of ant.) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure how you will be able to do that. If its over your TV area maybe able to access through ceiling or if its over your over head cabinets maybe able to access through their ceilings.
As you can see in this picture, overhead fan motor, does not leave to much room to work your hand up into ceiling area if you have these overhead fans.

If you have the cable exposed where it broke off may try gluing to roof but be careful what you use if its a rubber roof.
You can also screw to roof plus glue through ANT base.
