My half bath window separated and had to be replaced. It looked like it was not closed on the outside.

Same here

Ours did the same thing. Bottom part delaminated, but stayed attached along the top edge the hinge is. I superglued it together until I could have the window replaced at Newmar. I wonder why so many failures of that one window location?

So is this something I can have a dealer do ? Or do myself ? Sure hate to have to go all the way to the factory. Also what do I need to look for to determine if the Girad awning has been installed properly, thanks.

If your at all handy Kampers, its an easy replacement.
Newmar sent me the new vent and I replaced it in about 30 minutes.
There are two rivets on the inside on either side of the crank handle. Drill those out and the vent will swing free. Slide the crank arms out of the the vent making sure to catch the little plastic spacer between the two crank arms. Open the vent and slide it out of the frame. Install the new vent in the reverse order. If I remember right, the rivets are 3/16".
Good luck.
