Here I thought I was going to make it home this year with no problems.
400 miles from home after putting nearly 6000 miles on the MH out to California and back.......pulled into park near Springfield, Ill. today and got signal that drivers side rear jack wasn't fully retracted. System wouldn't respond to any commands so crawled under to have a look and found the jack motor hanging loose held only by the wiring harness. Further inspection showed two screws hanging from the mounting bracket so obviously the mounting vibrated loose and let go. Only fix is to remove the entire assembly and reattach screws and reinstall. Since we are so close, elected to tape motor to frame to prevent losing it and getting it fixed at my dealer at home. My question is: does anyone know how to disable the system easily to silence the alarm....when I start the engine I get warning sound along with flashing lights because the system senses the jack isn't up. Don't want to drive 400 miles with that irritation. Is there a fuse or easy disconnect ?

I had a similar problem with the alarm. I just unscrewed the control panel and unplugged it. Doesn't hurt the system or anything else. Stopped the alarm.

At lease you had a good trip being near home. Those jacks have given people some fits.
When you have dealer remount maybe they should check them all for loose mounts and use star washers under heads of mounting bolts.
Welcome back.
Can anyone help me, I am looking to find out how to contact Atwood to get the paperwork to show me how to put the jacks down manually and indivually for a 2005 Fleetwood Bounder 35R feet.
