Another recall coming up: Power steering issue on some XBR chassis

Looks like another recall is coming up, with notices going out in late May.

The following units are affected:

• 2014-2017 Ventana
• 2011-2017 Dutch Star
• 2011-2014 Mountain Aire

Only those units with XBR chassis and Cummins ISL engines are affected.

The problem is related to the power steering hose, which may not be properly routed. If it's not, it may be possible that arcing could occur (possible fire) and/or leaking of the power steering fluid (could affect steering control).

Isn't the 2016 Dutch Star on an XCR chassis?

This broke the whole thing open, far exceeded the scope of the original recall. This DS was out of the recall range. Yes on XCR. Exact same cause. PS hose on starter stud.
