Any way to run cable from basement to half bath cabinet

Newmar wouldn't install a conduit as a special, and now I find myself wanting to run an Ethernet cable from the basement to the cabinet in the half bath.

Amy straight forward way to do this?

You can run the cable along the Oasis heater hoses

I have been looking into doing this as well. From what I can tell the bundles run up the wall between the bedroom and bathroom, and enter the ceiling of the cupboard.

Btw, the orange and white wire bundle you see is a spare newmar runs from the above driver seat panel to this cupboard and then to the pegboard bay area. It is unused on all coaches. It is the only standard cable run on all coaches as a spare.Click image for larger version

Okay....I just happened to do this. If you have the Oasis system in the half bath, there are two vents. The lower vent is the blower and the upper is a for air flow and has nothing behind it. I pulled that upper vent off and in the very back, I could see the wiring coming up from the basement area.

Unfortunately, I didn't find this until after I ran wiring another way. I ran wire up alongside the half bath sink drain pipe, drilled a hole at the top of the cabinet into the small vertical cabinet next to the sink. I then drilled another hole into the floor to ceiling cabinet. From there I hid the wiring behind the face frame and drilled a final hole into the electrical cabinet above the window. All the wire is hidden behind the cabinet frames and held in place with cable hold downs.

If you use the vent for access, you'll still need to drill two holes to get wire to the electrical cabinet.

I had two 1" conduits run from the half bath to the bay below as a special. They did say no at first, said they only do conduits horizonal because of slides. I explained in an email to the head of engineering that this was an easy money maker for them. 6' of conduit running straight up and down in a no slide area and it was approved. Was planning to put solar monitors in the hallway wall but ended up running everything above the drivers seat.

I had them run six wires from the half bath panel to the wet bay as a special. They disapproved because of the wire size, #16. They later approved #12 wire. I think they are afraid of running unconnected wire, not knowing what it was going to be used for.

I should have pushed harder after mine was denied.

Pardon my ignorance but why would you want ethernet in your half bath? Not asking you to justify anything, sincerely curious.

That's where my cell modems, router, etc. are and I would like to hook up some items via Ethernet. One in particular is the Magnum add on that allows you to remotely monitor the AGS, inverter, etc.

Talk about a "throne "room", you can be on the internet and auto start your generator if it looks like it's going to be awhile!

Or, you could tell Alexa to flush your toilet...
You "Alexa flush the mid toilet"
Alexa " Ok, but big flush or small flush?"
You " use your sensors in the bowl to decide"
Alexa " From my smell sensors, I suggest a full flush"
You " good call"
Alexa flushes toilet " OK"
