This surprised me. Any opinions? Anybody try this? I’ve seen the commercials but never thought to use on an RV particularly one with a higher end paint job. Actually I would have thought it would be too harsh for paint.

Their website says that you can used it on campers. Campers is a pretty broad generic term.

I saw that yesterday and decided it was not for me, I think it might be good for folks who store outdoors in an area that results in a lot of mold and staining but I can't see how it wouldn't affect your paint and your wax. I'm just going to keep using my Adam's car wash and Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic rinse.

I tried it on my former MH. It resulted in lots of streaks down the side after a rain. YMMV.

I tried similar products in the past, but here in the desert SW where it is currently 99 with 7% humidity, the product dries too fast and creates a host of other problems.

I love the stuff and have used it for various things including my RV roof. I'm not sure about the logic of using a product that takes weeks to work on a vehicle, and the idea of using it on full body paint to save me some time makes me nervous. Now, if you have an RV that sits outside all the time and gets covered with algae and you want to let the sun, rain and a few weeks time remove the algae at the beginning of the season, then yes. I applied it once a year on the vinyl siding on our house in the early spring and it worked fine.

I jumped over to the Wet and Forget website, and it does mention it's safe on vehicle finishes, however it warned to cover decals and bumper stickers before using. So, my question is: Would vinyl stipes and graphics on some RVs be considered decals? It also doesn't mention anything about it's effect on wax.

Don't see how this works. You have dirt and grime on the sides of your RV. Spray this stuff on and let it dry. Where did the dirt go? Seems like it's locked into place.

Another claim to fame is it kills mold and mildew. You have to have some underlying "food" for mold and mildew to grow and that comes from existing organic matter in dirt. Sure the stuff will kill the mold/mildew (bleach does this too but don't use this on vehicle paint!), but the underlying dirt is still there, just covered up so it's not too visible.
