Anyone going to the Hershey RV show?
As many probably know, the Hershey RV show starts September 13th until the 17th.
This will be my first RV show!
Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions while I am there? Will be seeing the Newmars' of course and speaking with Ms. Howard
Any other booths that are a must see?
Thanks

Best advice I can think of is review the vendor list and seminars... try to prioritize based on your interests.
R U looking for a MH? If so what type? Size? Etc
You might contact dealers to know which units they will have there.
Accessoriesalways interesting to browse if you are already rving.

Hershey is an opportunity to look at many RV'ing options, such as trailers, Class B, Super C, etc.
Carefully consider other options you might be interested in, and formulate a Plan B.

We will be going there before NKK rally in Sedilia. Looking a pictures from last year looks like maybe 90% trailers. If someone last year tells about % motor homes and any good seminars. Thanks Tom

don't know about seminars, but i do know that both tiffin and newmar have some pretty good displays. other than those two, i didn't look at much else last year.....
dealer for newmar is Tampa RV / RV One...
not sure who the tiffin dealer is. bob tiffin was there last year.....
not going this year. had twin grove booked, but had to cancel, as my nephews wedding is 9/16.....

Great show, everything RV, with over 1,200 campers on display. We have been going for years and the best advice is go Thursday and Friday, and get there when it opens or before it opens.
Saturday is a nightmare with huge huge crowds so if you go on Saturday get there before it opens and wait. We made the mistake one Saturday of arriving around 10:00 am and it took us an hour and 15 minutes to go from the front of the Giant center to the time we parked the car. if you are shopping for a coach or camper plan two days to see the units, negotiate, etc. The busier the show the longer any interaction with a dealer will take as most sales reps are busy. The best time to access reps and their bosses is early in the day or later at night. When we order our 2016 Ventana LE 4037 we arrived at the show Friday at 9:00 am, left at 9:00 pm, arrived Saturday at 10:00 am and left the show at 9:30 after close, and we went back Sunday from 9:00 to 4:00.

DW and I are going to attend on the 14th and 15th. Still considering rigs for our fulltime adventures in 2 yrs. At this point either the DS 4369 the Anthem 44A (may change). Would love to connect with some fulltimers to gain experience and share a lunch or dinner. Leaning towards the DS 4369

We're heading down, this is our 4th visit to the show. We are meeting with Tiffin and Entegra reps on Thursday.
We have found that this show is a great opportunity to get an overview of different options, to review actual layouts instead of just floorplans and get a feel for the different coaches. It has really helped us zoom in on what we like and don't like about different models, size that we want, storage that each offers.

Thanks for the comments. We have already selected our rig, (huge undertaking about 14 months) it is the Newmar 2018 Bay Star 3401 although there will not be one at the show.
Will be meeting with a Newmar rep already set up and will hopefully be able to find a Newmar Bat Star that is basically the same as far as compartments, colors, bare bones with obviously a different floor plan. Very excited.
Will be arriving early Thursday am, staying overnight and attending on Friday.
Plan on seeing some of the vendors as well for ideas. Anymore more ideas or experiences please post them

We are shopping for our first MH and plan on attending on Wednesday.
It seems everyone is talking about visiting Thursday and Friday, am I missing
something? Will people still be setting up on Wednesday and not ready for
business on Wednesday?

you're not missing anything...
public days are WED - SUN.....
WED should arguably be the quietest day, too....

I'll be driving my Casita there tomorrow Wed. 9/13. Staying until Friday night.
I have been looking forward to this show all year. This will be my second time going to the show.

I checked the show layout/map and it appears the Newmar area is somewhat smaller than last year. I'd be interested in hearing from someone who attends Wed or Thirs which units they squeeze in. I plan to be there Sunday
