Not enough reviews to mean anything. I bought mine at Crutchfield, same price, free shipping and lifetime support.

Did you use the GPS antenna that was supplied with the radio or use the coach mounted one?

I used the supplied antenna because the coachís antenna wonít fit the back of the Kenwood. I placed the gps antenna as far forward as I could reach inside the dash. I havenít had any issues with that location.

Now that I have the Kenwood installed I am looking to replace the Voyager. It will not be as easy. The Kenwood is real close to the Voyager. In fact the sun shade no longer fits the voyager without trimming the side. After our summer travels I'll look at what might work. Whatever I do will require some cutting of the dash.

The other issue is the crappy low-res cameras for the 360 and rear/side view. I want to upgrade to 4k so I'll be searching for a source for those.

I thought there might be a way, but there isnít a direct known connection. There are plenty of inputs left over on the Kenwood, but that was an option I never really used so I didnít try hard to make that work. I use Bluetooth to stream to my outside Soundbar.

I am looking to use one of these to replace the Voyager. Lots of size options:
https://www.joyingauto.com/

And this to interface it to the cameras:

Can you add anything now that you have had it for a while, Johninar?

I'm looking for a single unit to replace the stock unit in my 2015 Roadtrek (2014 MB Sprinter) I didn't really want to do a "floater" but I want to go bigger than the one which came with the vehicle.

Would be interested to hear feedback now that you have used it.

I absolutely love the Kenwood. I bought the unit with the Garmin GPS. After a couple of weeks I decided to add the RV 1090 Garmin. I love having a dedicated GPS. The Kenwood GPS is always available as a backup if needed.

The Kenwood Carplay works very well. I or my wife can throw any app up on the screen. Very seamless. The head unit is very stable. No jittering or vibration in the head. It's rock solid. The best upgrade I could hope for.

Everything is easy to read and with the 10" display the 360 camera is extremely helpful.

I am not looking at upgrading the cameras to HD or 4K!

Happy Trails,

John

How was the unit mounted into the opening? How was the camera system plugged into the unit?

Sorry I reread the initial posted to answer my own question.
