Aqua-Hot 450 DE5 zone two not working

Hi, all first post here, we have a 2006 Newmar Dutch Star 4320 we had two new penguin A/C units installed and had to change the thermostat to the 10 buttons plus we had a new Aqua-hot 450 DE5 with the new reporter. Zone 1 heat works great but Zone 2 will not kick in, but I can turn it on manually.

Question 1 should both A/C units have the dip switch for Aqua hot flipped on

Question 2 could it be a problem with the thermostat. which is new.

right now, waiting for a warranty new motor for the aqua-hot
