Arrival/departure checklists

In line with the thread about slide out procedures, does anyone want to share with us their checklists so I don't have to re-invent the wheel or miss something!!
Getting old sucks and my memory seems to be the first to go!!

previous thread?

we level, then run out the slides, for best operation, though the system can very well handle slight out-of-level situations.

Mine is simple. I start from the rear and move to the front then walk outside for a visual inspection.

Here is our current arrival and departure checklist. They are constantly updated as I realize I missed something. I have them one a single front and back sheet of paper that I get "plasticized" at Kinko's.

ARRIVAL CHECKLIST

Walk around coach and preview site prior to turning coach off.
Turn off coach and unlock all bins.
Turn off breaker, plug in and turn breaker back on. Confirm 30 or 50 Amps at panel.
Attach hose to city water and turn it on.
Attach sewer hose and open grey water valve.
Unlock all slide locks and deploy slides.
Level coach and verify all four jacks deploy.
Put out welcome mat and raise the flag and flag pole.
Deploy both awnings.
Turn out recliners and table. Put garbage can between the recliners.

DEPARTURE CHECKLIST

Check tire pressure, oil level, radiator level, and other fluids.
Take down flag pole and bring in awnings.
Secure shower door and contents. Clear bathroom counter and secure toilet seat and lid.
Clear half bath counter and secure toilet seat and lid.
Double check bedroom and bathroom doors and all drawers and cabinets are secured.
Lock refrigerator door and secure contents. Clear counter tops, secure dog beds, dogs and water dish.
Turn recliners sideways and secure along with table on FWS. Put garbage behind co-pilot’s seat.
Retract auto level system and ensure travel mode is lit green.
Warm up coach and bring airbags to full level and PSI.
Mop, sweep or vacuum floors prior to bringing in slides.
Turn off coach and bring in and lock all slides.
Fill fresh water holding tank and bring in fresh water hose.
Empty black water tank and flush as needed.
Empty grey water tank and rinse sewer hose as needed.
Secure sewer hose, hook-ups, covers, etc. in wet bin.
Turn off climate control system just before disconnecting shore power.
Turn off breaker and disconnect shore power and wind up power cord.
Walk around coach, pick up door mat, double check jacks are up and check slides are in and flush.
Double check Jeep hook-up, brake switch is on, transmission is in neutral/park.
Test Jeep blinkers and brake lights and double check all bins are locked.
Check Jeep brake light on back of Jeep mirror using rear view camera.
Check air PSI, oil pressure, fuel level of coach and Jeep, and turn on radio and navigation system.
Turn on air horn and headlights, bring up step cover, plug in dash camera and lock door.

When DW and I took our commercial driving license training course, we were taught to perform a very thorough circle check of the vehicle itself before departure. I've posted all of the details on my blog here: Checklists – RV Castaways which includes a short checklist form from Freightliner as well as the longer checklist that we use before we travel with our coach.

Do you have the 2 lists in a printable format like WORD or PDF? The two lists were very extensive and detailed.
Thanks

Arrival/departure checklists

Great list and one recommendation regarding water fill. Keep in mind water is heavy stuff and for every gallon of water that is almost 8 lbs so if you have a 100 gallon water tank that is a lot of weight to carry around. More weight equals more fuel usage. When traveling we never need more that 1/3 of a tank of water.

Somebody forgot to add "open beer" at the end of the arrival list.

All lists are good but I have a slight variation.

Before I do anything else (if possible, before I back into a site) I test the pedestal with my portable Progressive EMS-50. It's pretty annoying to back in, do some stuff, and find bad power.
