My Atwood Levelegs have also started to operate erratically and apparently replacement parts are no longer available. I think that my control panel is going bad. I have found that running the engine at fast idle helps to get full voltage to the panel.
My suggestion is to always carry a drill motor and a 1/2" socket so that the legs can be manually retracted if they get stuck in the extended position. It apparently takes 500 turns of the nut to retract the leg 1".
I haven't decided what to do when my Levelegs fail. A replacement hydraulic system would be about $4K. Apparently there is also an option to manually control the legs with parts from Gama Electronics, but all the safety interlocks would be absent.
