We have an 11 Essex (lucky us). The drawer in the center console has a 30 pin ipad connector. Will that allow us to play an audio book on an ipad through the radio speakers?

We have an '11 Newmar Ventana with an Eclipse Radio/Nav and the iPod connector.
I can plug my iPhone or iPad into it and it will play music & Pandora through it. If I play a movie it shows up on the Radio Nav screen (probably unsafe).
