Auto gen start

Our coach will be idle for a month with the frig. running and plugged into ac power. Will the generator start automatically with the inverter off if we lose ac power?? Can I also put the 12dc in the store position??

I do not think any thing will start GEN without the batteries on charge.
There is AGS information in QT's# 3 ------ AGS,INVERTER/CONVERTER SECTION.

Thanks for the reply. I thought the batteries were charging even with the inverter off. At least they did with our 2002 DS.

The question is does the AGS work with the inverter off?

The AGS will work if you turn the magnum inverter off but the charger and the house battery disconnect should be left on. Activating the house battery disconnect turns the AGS modile power off.

Talked to the tech where we bought and he said that we need the inverter on because if ac power is lost, need inverter to power the frig. off the batteries. Don't know why I didn't think of that.
