Aux Heater switch on drivers panel

I have tried to search the forums but Im just going to ask the question.

Can someone tell me with detail everything I would ever want to know about the switch on the drivers console that says aux heater and has a low and high setting, no off?

I cannot figure out if I have another heating system. I did manage to get my furnace going which is really good news. But I would like to know what this aux heater is supposed to do. and how to work it.

Thanks!

Don't know about yours, but on the newer Dutch Stars with Oasis Heating, that switch turns on a blower up front, only when the Oasis unit is ON.

The optional heater ; for our vintage coaches ; controlled by the dash switch is in a box under the foot of the bed ; with a vent facing into the bath room ; to keep the rear of the coach warm during travel ; dash control is for the two speed fan and only temperature control was a shut off valve in the engine coolant supply line .

EDIT : I remembered some one had posted a photo of the optional heater and went looking .
