I don’t think you will get better documentation with another coach. Newmar builds a high quality coach. My delivery was in early April and Newmar resolved many of the issues mentioned by Turbo and Cinergi, but it’s the first year of a new design. I would buy the damn thing agin, but that doesn’t mean I’m not annoyed. We began a 5 month trip yesterday and the learning process will continue. Good luck with your New Aire.

Your comment makes me curious - What problem did your Tiffin have that was so bad you refused to drive it, even after repairs?
I looked for some of your previous posts but could not find anything on this. It sure sounds serious.
Curious minds want to know ....

Same "problem" existed with both our 2000 and 2002 DSDP's.
My present CC is much better even though it's on a CD and I forgot to take my laptop one weekend. What is REALLY appreciated is the full wiring, plumbing and air control schematics and the fully labeled wiring.

We would have bought the New Aire if in was available at the time we purchased our Dutch Star.
We had problems with our Dutch Star. Fortunately, Newmar has done an excellent job of resolving our problems. We were able to work two trips to Nappanee into our travel plans (six months and 18 months). I think that made all the difference for us. Our dealer was excellent, but admitted that our problem at the time (full wall slide) might be better fixed by Newmar. Newmar was very good about taking care of our problems that were documented while we were under warranty. Also, I can understand the issues of being on the west coast vs us being from Ohio.
I wouldn't have reservations about buying the New Aire now, because of the support that we have gotten from Newmar with this coach.

We did factory pick up of our New Aire in March & have had a very positive experience so far (3000 miles). We love it. Our issues were handled at the factory when we picked it up. We knew ahead of time that the manuals for this coach (& most others) are generic & that we’d have to travel a distance for service issues. We also recognized we were purchasing a new high tech model in its 1st year of release. And we knew we’re buying a moving house undergoing constant earthquake-like conditions. So I guess I’m saying don’t buy if you’re not prepared for ‘stuff’ to happen. New Aire is a fantastic coach & Newmar is one of the best (if not the best) manufacturers. And, they have room for improvement: manuals, service availability & inconsistent QC for dealer pick-ups.

You can complain all you want its not going to change the facts of life.
For years this forum has survived with the excellent Newmar Owners who stepped up and gave members of many different models and coach improvements, much better than any information you will get out of a Owners Guide.
Well its happened again with the likes of Idelup, turbopilot and cinergi's long threads and video's.
They have put more time in this new coach and more than that you all should be thankful for.
So as they have been saying, sit back relax and enjoy their hard work in helping to solve, what you all see as a problem, their knowledge will open up the many changes and upgrades this coach offers so you can have many years of enjoyment.
I can only say we here on the Newmar Forum have had many black clouds pass over us but the sunshine will eventually pass through them, so read, learn and enjoy the new adventure after all that's what to RV Lifestyle is all about in case you never new it.
FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT STILL WANT TO GO DOWN THIS PATH HERE IS A THREAD TO HELP YOU OUT, ENJOY AND SAFE TRAVELS.

Not a good blanket statement to make for just a manual

That's true skip the good reviews and the reputation of how good Newmar makes their coaches because the manual isn't written well lol

Thanks, I feel better that some one has had a better experience. I am also doing the FPU. I'm hoping that will clear up most issues. I guess I'll be bringing the list from these boards to make sure everything is ok.

Using the FPU to feedback experience from these forms seem to be productive.
Can't believe there is not an employee actively monitoring these forums on a daily basis and following up with individual customers. Really makes me wonder about Newmar management.

We are on our second Winnebago product. When we were looking for our recently purchased 2014 Solei we also looked at a 2016 Ventana which we loved but it was out of our current price range. I looked at the Newmar document folder (nice case) but was amazed how little info Newmar provided. On both our current Solei diesel as well as our old Adventurer gasser Winnebago provided a 10" thick bag of documents which included a very complete manual specific to the coach model. If you are curious you can check these out online as they are all available on Winnies website. They also have complete parts, wiring, plumbing, etc diagrams online.
