Awning issue with 2014 DS 4369

The awning will sometimes spontaneously retract - when the air is still - no wind. Sometimes several times a day - and sometimes it will go days and not retract.

Does anyone have any insight on what causes this situation?

Go you have a wind sensor to automatically retract the awning in high winds? You may have a bad sensor.

Yep - it retracts when the it's windy too - but it likes to retract often when there is no wind - and I'm trying to figure out why. Thanks for the feedback.

On my 06 TS i had an a&e awning that did the very same thing. It almost seemed like the heat of the day would cause it to roll up. I never did figure it out. It did seem to work ok in high wind sometimes. never trust it. I just turned the auto off at the box for it to stay out. lol
I have a 2014 now that works correctly most of the time. My problem is it won't roll up straight.

High temps can cause it to retract. Ours would when we were in AZ in July.
