Awning or patio lights

2015 Ventana 4037 , 3430 miles
Just bought this one and havenít discovered how to turn on ant outdoor lighting. Do all Newmar have awning lights. Previously had Itasca Mh, Dynamax 5th wheel, and Coachman Sportscoach. All had exterior lighting. Help, Iím missing something.

We have a 2016 VTDP. No guaranteed similarities but it shouldn't be too different. For outdoor lighting, we have...
  1. outdoor step lights;
  2. an outdoor security light between the two passenger side slides;
  3. a similar security light on the driver's side;
  4. an exterior light mounted high near the entry door (passenger side);
  5. and a lighted grab bar near the front door.

All are switch activated with most/all of the switches up front near the copilot's seat. We DO NOT have any awning lights. Some owners install LED light strips under the slide outs or under the edges of the coach. I guess it's not too tough. I prefer not to.

Wow, that's a pretty low mileage coach. It should have lots of happy glamping yet to provide. Enjoy.

Patio light switch only turns on the grab handle on the keyless entry. Must not have awning lights. Seems like a small thing on an upper end unit.

Check light fixture over door. Bulb my be out as that is the patio light.

Also look for the switch that says security light as that controls the light fixture up high midway down the side of the coach. There should also be a security light switch for the drivers side. If you find the switch and the light does not come on check the bulbs.

People turn the lights on and forget to turn them off and the bulbs will burn out over time.
