Awnings don’t open

For some reason my awnings aren’t working. I changed the batteries and changed the fuse located in the half bath. Does anyone have other ideas as to what the problem may be? Thank you in advance

The awning motor may have gone bad. Check the wiring going up the arm to see if there are any breaks. There is a procedure to test the motor but I've never had to do it, so I don't want to take a chance trying to explain it.

To demonstrate my mastery of the obvious: Are they plugged in?

My awning needs proper voltage in order to operate.
I would also check voltage going to the motor

Are they Girard awnings? If so, they are 110 volt. They're plugged into outlets in the basement. Those outlets are controlled by the GFCI in the half bath cabinet at the back of the cabinet.

Yes they are Girard’s like yours Don. So do I open the medicine cabinet and check to see if that GFCI is popped

Yep, high probabilty Don's got it. I had the same issue once, except my tripped GFCI was in the full bath in back.
