Back up monitor

Looking for suggestions for a upgrade for the Voyager back up camera/ nav system?

Here's are 2 good sources. Give them a call and see what they suggest based upon your present system/wiring.

Over the years, I've found the Voyager product to be a pretty good unit. I would upgrade to a newer one.

I have a 2008 Dutchstar. Even though you have a Mountain Aire, I would assume the voyager backup camera and monitor are the same. Mine went out on me last year and since my extended warranty is up in June of this year, I decided to get it repaired. Bad news is they don’t make them anymore. And the mounting method of the new ones is different, as is the wiring harness. So if you’re doing it yourself, it’s quite a job. The shop I took mine to managed to find a replacement kit with cameras, monitor and harness but it’s not going as easy as planned. It’s in the shop now, but I have confidence they’ll get it right. It’s a good shop.

Do you still have your Voyager observation system. In particular, the monitor? Mine was Aom-53 - either dash mount or ceiling mounted.

Question for you. We are looking to upgrade our backup camera and monitor. We are told that we have the old 4pin system and the wiring will have to be redone. Did your Dutch Star have conduit in which to pass new wire? Or this is a complete redo?
