Backlight on the switch panel

It was dark and I wanted to lock the basement doors for the night. I accidentally hit the 12 volt disconnect at the entry door. Turned it right back on but now the backlight on all the light switches stay illuminated 24/7. How do I get the backlight to dim out. Is that a function in SilverLeaf?

Light switch brightness is not a function of Silver Leaf on our Essex. On ours, the light switch near the kitchen sink has a button named “Backlighting”. You can select two levels of brightness, or off until one of the switches is pressed. In the bedroom, the same switch is just above our head while laying in bed. Each time you disconnect the house batteries, they will be on full bright until you reset them.

I would try turning the headlights on and then off.

Backlight on the switch panel

Thank you both. See the backlight switch on the kitchen and above bed panels. Thanks. Will also do the headlight on/off now. Thanks again.

Okay, I misread your post. I thought you were talking about the switches that are backlit when the headlights are on. It sounds like your talking about the interior light switches. If so, it sounds like you reset the settings on the light switch panels when you reset the coach 12 volt. Those panels have a HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW and OFF backlight setting. You need to find the two or three panels in your coach that control the backlight settings. Typically, one is at the front door and the other is on the underside of the cabinet above your head while in bed.
