Bad Fresh water correction

I have a 2005 DPDS. I have bad tasting water so I looked in the instructions for correcting the problem and find that I mix a chlorine solution and run it through the tank. Then the instructions become unclear. First dump the water out of the tank. To do this I take it that I open the two low line valves or is there another valve that I am missing? Once the water is out of the tank I use the winterizing line to draw the chlorine mixtures into the system. Anyway is there a clear instruction somewhere as to how to do this. They speak of valves but don't tell you where they are.
Has anyone had to chlorinate their water lines in a Dutch star?

Check out this video:

You will need to locate low point drain for your tank. Drain water, refill with water & bleach . Run all faucets until you smell bleach. Let stand. Then drain and refill with fresh water, making sure to again run all drains until bleach odor is gone.

Here is what I do every spring after winterizing.
You use your empty water hose fill with about a 1/2 qt of bleach turn on the fresh water valve and run city water through the hose and fill the fresh water tank.
Open the by-pass valves to water heater than pump with your water pump the bleached water from fresh water tank through the whole plumbing system out the sink faucets and the toilets fill hot water tank than let set over night or dependant how soon you need the system back as maybe in your case let set 4 to 6 hours.
If you use water filters have them removed and replace with new ones at the beginning of season.
You can than drain out all the system at your low point drains in water closet and off your fresh water tanks and flush out system with fresh water.
The initial use of system you may have some bleach smell but in day or two the system will smell clean and fresh.
Have been doing this in all my coach's for years and no complaints.
