Baggage Door Trimark Power Lock Actuator

2019 Newmar New Aire

We have two baggage doors that will not electronically lock and unlock. It seems that the power actuators have failed. Took them apart cleaned and oiled but still not working correctly (seems like they are bound up or just worn out)

Could not find in the Newmar parts catalog.

Anyone have a source for the Trimark Compact Style Power Lock Actuator 550-0100?

You could also try the Newmar parts department in Nappanee. Customer Service (800) 731-8300 will connect you to the parts counter. I've had good luck ordering several items directly from Newmar. And you may be able to find it on Amazon.

Update: I just heard back from Trimark. They will sell you the actuators. I decided to order a couple of extras. Figured if 2 failed, more would follow.

About 2 years ago we had both the front door and 1 cabinet lock assembly (12 Volt Motor) go out and went on Google and found that I could by a door lock kit with the same motors (4) for 20$. At that time contacted Newmar and because they sell the assembly with the metal back plate they were over 100$ each. The Trimark price is also a good way to go.
