Basement Carpet

I have some permanently stained basement carpet. Where would I purchase some new carpet including that gray rubberized piece that looks to be used to cover seams. It looks to me as though the carpet is glued down. Has anyone had any experience with replacing an piece of this carpet? Thanks for any help. David

Here's one example. When I was doing a little project awhile back, I found it difficult to get the color to match what I had.

You can google car trunk carpet lining and get a lot of ideas.

When making shelves to match the carpet, I use the grey carpet from Home Depot.

Find a local automotive interior shop. They will have almost any color you need. Take a scrap piece along to match it up.

For an entirely different perspective - who cares if the carpet in the basement storage is stained?

I am closing in on the 4th year with my coach. I have contemplated emptying all of the bays and blowing all of the sand out of there, but always find something else to do.

Same as DS Don. When I installed a shelf in the pass through bay I use the gray carpet from Home Depot and it matched very well. I used spay on glue copiously.

I got some at Lowes that matched pretty close when I built my basement shelves.

HDepot, Lowes, Menards. All have suitable short nap carpets that are cheap and clean.
I think I would put a chrome / stainless strip ontop at the ends and put a couple screws to hold the carpet in place instead of gluing it. That way super easy to replace the next time.

I will call Newmar parts and also get some of that rubber striping while I'm at it. I just want it to match. Thanks to everyone for your help.
