Basement lights not turning off : DS 2020 : Fixed

On the What are you doing to you’re motorhome while being self isolated? thread I said I wanted to fix the basement lights never turning off.

The process to fix is easy:
  • Open each bay door, and disconnect the wire to the switch. Note: Switches are present on some bays which don't have lighting controlled by the switch.
  • Once you disconnect the last switch, the lights will be off
  • Working bay-by-bay : Connect the wire to the switch and lights will go on
  • Close the bay door. Lights should go off. If not, adjust (bend) the switch bracket and retest.
  • Repeat until all bays completed

After adjusting three switches the basement lights now go off

Here's a photo on the wire disconnected from the switch.

Great way to fix this issue. My bay lights stay on too. This fix you found is on my list for tomorrow. Thanks for the great idea.
