Bath towel hanger.

The absence of a place to hang towels has been a challenge for us. We toured the factory and found that every coach we looked at has the same two pronged hook that lets towels fall off the door at the slightest touch.
I found a toilet paper hanger at Bed, Bath that's designed to hang over the side of a toilet tank and holds two rolls of paper. I cut off the hook, ground it smooth and it fits perfectly over the door hook. I protected the door by hanging a wash cloth over the bottom of the wire and we now have a way to hang up two bath towels that keeps them from falling on the floor.
Just a suggestion if you have had the same issue.

We had the same issue. Purchased this from Amazon. Works great. Swing wet items into shower and let them dry whiles going down the road.

Amazing how towel racks are not seemed as a needed thing in RV's??

Hand towels yes but bath towels -

DW has found a towel hook that was designed to go on the top of the door we have one for the shower for her mine still goes over the glass inclosure - helps keep the dust off.

Thanks for the Idea,

Agree that I've never understood how RV manufacturers think people dry their towels. Our brand-new VTLE 3412 also has only the two-pronged hook at the top of the bathroom door when it's closed.

We're planning to do the same as we did in our prior Class A: get two nice-looking straight towel rods that match the finish on the other items in the bath and put them on the back of the door: one up at the top and one just below the handle. That way each of us can put up our respective towels and they can dry.

Will also remove the circular hand-towel holder which is positioned so the towel hangs down and covers the light and the fan switch Will get matching straight bar to spread out the hand towel.

The 2 prong towel hook works fine with the super secret fix!!!!

I put a layer of silicone glue on the top of the hook. Once dry, the hook is nice and grippy. 10,000 miles and my towels haven't touched the floor

I use 3M Command hooks. No marks and easily removable. Come in black or white finishes as well as metal.

That looks terrific. Will order - thanks! Wish it came in brushed copper to match my other fixtures.

I'd been looking at these for our 4369 Ventana. Do you think the 24" towel bar would fit on the back/closet side of the shower?

+1 on the towel command hooks. You can get three pack on AZ for under 9 bucks.

We use the 5lb Command hooks in Brushed Chrome finish to match other fixtures. Work very well so far...

2 Command hooks inside the shower on opposite walls. We hung an expanding clothes rod 'for the backseat of a car' across them. Holds towels, wash cloths and the drips are inside the shower.

We contacted Newmar (parts dept) and found they had 24" towel bars that matched the rest of the hardware in our 2014 Ventana LE 3436. The price was about what you'd expect to pay for upscale towel bars at your local big-box store. Using expandable "Molly-bolts," I mounted them on the outside wall above the toilet. They seem to work fine.
