Batteries, put in 4, 6V batt,
We have a 2000 Kountry Star rv. We found our 4, 6V batteries needed replacing. Water pump not turning on. We took photo of battery connections, before replacements. I am pretty sure we re-wired accordingly.
But, still no house power. No interior lights, water pump, ref, a/c; nothing. With generator on, no A/c, lights, etc. Front board does not light up, with in use button on position. Need immediate answers.

Did you measure voltage before replacing?
How about voltage now?

With 4 6 VDC batteries:
Wire each PAIR in series (negative of one to positive of its friend). That "makes" one good 12 VDC battery.
Then wire each PAIR in parallel with the other pair (positive to positive/negative to negative).
Go from the positive of one pair to house positive.
Go from negative of the other pair to house ground/negative.
EASY!

We found the problem in the 4th figuration, we numbered them before disconnect, 1,2,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.
The 4th being the upper right battery, there was a pink bundle of wires that had fallen behind the battery set. Pulling them up, looking at my picture, the 4th has pink connection, small buddle of wires. We connected them, and the light came on, the pump is working, ( after piming for a bit), and now 6 hours later we are at campout.
Thank you so much for your reply. We really appreciate our new friends on this site.
