Battery Compartment Wiring

I have a 2002 Newmar Gas Mountain Aire and in the Battery Compartment there are 2 heavy duty wires loose in that area. I would like to know what they are for and where do they go. Thank you.

Suggest you post a picture, hard to help you with just a description. Best guess you have less batteries and previous owner declined to clean up the wiring.

My Newmar the wiring was for a 12 volt freezer option .

Check to wire color against the Newmar fuse panel .
Mine was in the bedroom next to the 120 volt circuit breaker box.

Looks like a solar prep was ordered. I had a 4" X 4" metal plate on the roof with the other end of the wires there. I had to cut the roof under the plate.
