Bay Star- front TV removal?
So here I sit at an older RV park that has old cable hook ups. I need to hook up their cable hook up with their box and use their remote. So I figure the tv must be hinged. Not. So I give it a slight upward push. No go. The cabinet off to the left has the surround sound and Blueray player. Does anybody know how this tv gets removed. The tv input cable is too tight a space for my hands to fit back there. Why would Newmar mount the TV in such an apparent permanent fashion.

Have you tried pulling it straight out? It should be on an articulating arm and held in place by magnets.

Don't see any arm. I did give it a couple of good tugs and it didn't break loose.

You're probably right about no arm. I do doubt it being permanent though, it's just not obvious how to remove the TV. Have you checked your bag of many documents for a tv mounting bracket installation guide?

I have been told that the wooden grill on the backside of the tv cabinet must be removed and it is glued on with silicon. I have not removed mine

If that's true, then that is a stupid move by Newmar. You'll probably damage that grill removing it. They could have at least put screws to hold that grill in.

My bedroom one is on magnets that are quite strong. One has to tug it pretty hard and almost to the point one thinks it will break something but it swings out on an adjustable swing arm. Front one I am not sure and am too scared to tug on that unless I am wearing safety boots.

Yes, I had to do that with my 2016 Bay Star Sport.

This is exactly how I accessed my front TV...I called Newmar to confirm this was how it was attached before I attacked the grill. A sharp knife will cut the silicon around the frame, bitch of a job. When I put it back I only applied silicon at the four corners in case I need to remove it again. IMHO it's a piss poor attachment method, Newmar could have done much better with a latch system rather than silicon.
