Bay Star Roof Screws Visible under membrane

Bought this 2017 Bay Star 3403 in Sept. this year, only 2500 miles on it.

I'm seeing some screws under the TPO roof membrane visible, as if they might be starting to protrude upward. The roof is very clean with no evidence of bad joints anywhere. It's near the center portion of two rafters (if that's what they're called on a motorhome) several feet forward of the rear A/C unit. I'm concerned enough to wonder if I should do something about them. My concern is, if the plywood is loose it could only get worse with bouncing down the highway.

Has anyone seen this on there MH? What has anyone done about it?

It's in storage now for a month, but my recollection is about half dozen or so along two adjacent rafters two feet forward of the rear A/C. Located more or less in the center portion of the rafters.

Before doing anything I would suggest that you get a moisture meter. One that measures without puncturing the surface. They are about thirty bucks and every RV owner needs one. Check both inside and on the roof to make sure that the screws are not coming loose due to water. Check inside and out. The AC gasket area is notorious for this. If it is wet, get it taken care of asap if it is dry then you have time. When you can, check the seal under the AC by removing the panel inside under the AC and examining where it meets the roof.

I know it is in storage but this is the next step when you can manage it. Once you find out if it is water then we can take it from there.

Moisture meers are anywhere from $39 to over $125, how to choose one for our rv coach.

Sounds like a great idea. Will order a meter. Sounds like something every RV owner should have.
