Can someone give me the basic rundown on differences between the 2015 Bay Star Vs Canyon Star?

Welcome to the forum.
Bay Star is entry level in gas coach line and Canyon Star is top of the line in a gas coach.
BS would have the basics and reflected in price where the CA would have upgrade furnishing's and features.
If you go to QT's # 3 and read threads after the Hoot's threads you will see BS & CA threads.
Good luck in your quest.

We have the 2014 Canyon Star 3610, which should be exactly the same as the 2015 model. The Canyon Star is built on a bigger chassi, it comes standard with the 24,000 lb chassi, we have a 26,000 lb chassi. It has the 22.5" tires, and is the new body style for the Canyon Star line. The outside appearance looks alot like the diesel models. We went back and forth between the Bay Star 3308 and the Canyon Star 3610. The biggest issue was the ccc which in the Bay Star was pretty much maxed out when you add four people, water, and a little equipment. Our ccc is about 5600 lbs, which no matter how hard my wife tries we will never carry that much cargo. The price difference was about $10,000 if I remember right. Some of the main differences are:
1) Bigger chassi (24000 vs 20500 lb)/longer wheelbase
2) 22.5" tires
3) ccc (5600 lb vs 1700 lb)
4) Ceiling height (84" vs 80", doesn't sound like much but makes a big difference)
5) Canyon Star sits about 7" higher
6) Bath and a half has larger black tank capacity
7) Storage bays a little bigger due to largere chassi/tires
8) Front grille nicer on Canyon Star(just my opinion)
9) Bay Star had nice rear window/Canyon Star has upgraded rear cap
10) Both have extremely nice interior furniture/cabinets ect.
11) Bay Stars only go to 33'11"/Canyon Stars up to 39'11"
We really liked the Bay Star but 3 things made us go with the Canyon Star, bigger chassi, 22.5 tires, and the bath and a half. We really love our Canyon Star it rides really nice and has great floorplan...have fun looking...Mike

Basic difference - You get what you pay for. Both fine gas coaches however.

Depends on your needs...... we went with the Canyon Star for extra room, King bed, washer, dryer. The Res. fridge was a extra we were not looking for but glad we purchased.

Have owned our CS for 15 months and have 8000+ miles on it. Love it. I must admit that I'm already looking forward to possibly trading up to a diesel in our future but the DW says she loves the CS and has no immediate interest in anything else ......and she loves to share the driving (does a great job of it too!). Good luck with your future purchase.

Isn't 39+ feet long pushing the limits of a F53 chassis?

My 37' coach doesn't push the limits at all. Don't imagine 2 more feet would make much difference......

Mine was built on the 26,000 lb chassi with an extended wheelbase( as compared to the standard order specs). I think all the 39' Newmars come on the 26,000 lb chassi as the standard. Mine has a ccc of over 5600lbs which would be very hard to push the limits on...

The larger 39' CS is on a 260" wheelbase. The longer wheelbase takes the weight of the front for a more even Distribution. The weight comes in around 23K pounds, pretty much loaded. I have taken the coach up and down the East Coast and across the southeast as far as Oklahoma back across the Mid-Western states with No issues.
The V10 handles well and runs great.
