Question Bay Star water tank level

I have seen several people with other models that have a visual of there fresh water tank level. My tank appears to be covered with the felt that is in all the compartments. Is there a secret view area I'm not aware of on a 2016 3124?

I see my fresh water tank, from bay opening. there is felt but only on one side, the other sides have no felt. In fact I have marked 20%, 40% full on side of the tank which I can see the water level. I accomplished this by measuring the tank, finding the cubic inches and figuring the percentages and those levels. Visual check is a double check of level gauge inside and I don't always transport full tank of water from one campground to another.

On my BSS the fresh water tank is visible through the roadside compartment but I end up sitting on the ground to watch it fill.

I cut away a strip of the felt down the side, so I can view the water entering as I fill.
