Bay Star Window Awnings

Sent an order form for a 2016 Bay Star to a dealer for price quote. Dealer said he could get window awnings installed which weren't listed as an option. Could anyone provide pictures of the awnings as well as pros/cons of having them?

Greatest benefit of the window awning is the ability to keep windows open, even in the rain. Shade from the sun is also a benefit. We opted for a single awning over both windows rather that two awnings, so no matter which way the rain is coming from, at least one window can stay open.

I might add some dealers can be talked into providing them to complete a sale worked for me on LR slide with the metal wrap included.
Didn't need them on bedroom windows had awning type windows, tinted.

I added the awnings to my 2012 Bay Star and used 2 on the DS slide out because I saw the way a single 2 window awning would twist in the wind. I decided to reduce the wind force with 2 awnings and 2 straps. I also added 6 to 12 extra inches to the window sizes so they would still fully shade the windows when the sun was at an angle. Camping World took my order and installed them.

Hi RainHurry,
Got window awnings on all the windows. Would not be without them. The biggest + is that they provide a choice.
