Hi -
We're new owners of a 2008 Bay Star 2901 and are very excited to be going full-time at the end of the month.

My DH was poking around the bedroom grills near the drawers and found what looks like a radiator/fan. However, our thermostat doesn't seem to indicate a 2nd zone. Anybody have any info on that radiator?

This leads us to also wonder whether schematics for the various systems are available for owners from Newmar. The schematics would also be helpful when we make modifications in the future.

Thanks,
ellyn

Hi Ellyn,
Welcome to iRV2. You did find the bedroom auxiliary heater. As to how it is controlled and the schematics for your coach, it may be best to contact Newmar directly at 800-731-8300.

Welcome and hope you enjoy your new 'home.'

Check the dash for a switch to control the bedroom auxiliary heater - should have a three position switch - Low - High - Off. Rocker switch.

We have one in our 2006 3743 MACA.

Hope this helps -

Bill and Pam

Thanks, Pam, Bill & Gary for the information on the aux. heater. We tried it out and it works only when the engine is running. So, we're perplexed as to how useful it is - because when we run the engine, the slide is in which blocks the heater. Is there a usage we haven't thought of?

I'd be interested to hear what Newmar tech support has to say about this.
