Because of HOOTS II...

We have added an ottoman & a new shower head!

Gary wants the chrome step covers that several coaches were sporting & I've been scoping out under cabinet lights & tables over the steering wheel too...much to the dismay of Gary.

We also discovered a leak. It seems it's the kitchen sink right before it enters the gray tank. Nothing IN the coach is wet but there was water pouring out of the underbelly through the bays when we left Sevierville. The water runs off the gray tank and onto the fresh water tank then off and apparently finds it's way to the underbelly.

The leak seems to be from the fitting right above the gray tank. We can't see where the top of the fitting has been sealed so wonder if it's leaked from the start. I used the washing machine for the 1st time @ HOOTS II so maybe water is coming from it too if it's plumbed to the same drain. We've got a major construction project going on at the S&B so we'll have it fixed at Newmar when we go in November.

We've tested the bathroom sink & shower and haven't seen water from them so I'll just wash dishes in a dish pan and dump the water down the toilet or bathroom sink when we make a short camping trip next week. When I talked to Rick @ Newmar, he said just use the sink and that it wouldn't cause anymore damage (We don't think there is any damage **crossing fingers**) but I don't think I want to do that. Something about water pouring down & into the underbelly bothers me.

I've also looked for the hat/jacket over the cabinet hangers that I saw in several coaches but can't find them! Can someone give me a link?

Thanks!

Here you go for the steps. Swing Out Steps

I never bought them for my Monaco, but with the SS kick plate on the Dutch Star they look great.

Great group with equally great ideas.

Bed, Bath & Beyond for over the door hangers and other idea stuff. We saw the Breville Smart Over in Dale & Lisa DS now Diann has one too.

KarenS144 ... here are some of the hooks we have. I am also trying to find the link to some longer felt hooks we use in the front over the side cabinets.

Don, what size did you buy for your Dutch Star? I want to order a set for my new coach so I have them in hand when I go to Missouri for delivery.

thanks!

Thanks for the links! Looks like I'll be making an Amazon order soon.

The steps are really nice and I think adds a lot. Gary noticed them first at the "Tour of Coaches" and has them on his list.

Nope and it could be partly the washing machine. We KNOW the water runs out of the fitting when I run water out of the sink but we haven't run the washer to see if it leaks when it runs as well. We can't tell if the washer has it's own drain into the gray tank or if it tees into the sink drain. I doubt I'll have a need to run the washer again before our stay at Camp Newmar so will let them figure it out.

There is nothing wet inside anywhere. We've checked under the washer & behind the washer & under the sink. The only evidence of water is underneath above the gray tank & the puddle on the fresh water tank.

We didn't know there was a leak till we saw the water dripping out from the bay. Once we removed the pegboard, we could see where water had been standing on the grey tank and where it had run into the bay. The wet bay is on the opposite side.

KarenS144 ... Here are the long felt hooks that we use up front on the side cabinets. Had to get some help from the Deek's to find these again. They found them the first time and showed them to us.
