Behind the pegboard
I don’t reckon I could be anymore confused. I couldn’t help but peek into the nether regions of the land behind the pegboard of my 2014 MA. First of all shame on Newmar for not cleaning up after themselves. Every place I have pulled out a drawer or moved a panel, is full of shaving and trash. Just saying.
The 2nd thing I see is a 4inch sq plastic box with several wire involved. Opening the box is a circuit board. I see a yellow wire that is cut with a wire nut. To the right is another yellow (of a different shade of yellow) which has emanated from some wire loom, which also is cut with a wire nut. The yellow wire from the box runs to a spot on the circuit board labeled “full float”.
The 3rd confusing items are the tanks. Is the black tank not Black? And the gray, gray? I thought the tank on the right was black and the one on the left, gray but there appears to be a flush line connected to the tank on the right. Are there flushes for gray tanks?
I thought I would see the level sensors but I dont. SO does anyone have any ideas as to what I’m looking at here?

Yeah.. they pop these out in four days. You'll find sawdust, trimmings, lost screws if you look.
I believe the box ties things together to prevent your macerator toilet from flushing when the black tank is full.
It's easier to picture which tank is which from the other side. Your black tank handle is in the pipe going to the black tank etc... If you have a flush on grey...that's a bonus. I'm thinking you're looking at the black tank though.
Our black tank is the one toward the front of the coach...our grey is toward the rear. The translucent colored tank on the bottom is fresh.

Before you close everything up, I would strongly suggest you modify the vent line on the fresh water tank.
You may have noticed if you have ever filled the tank to 100% and then hit the road, by the time you get to your destination, your fresh water tank will only be about 75% full. The reason being, that the way Newmar runs the vent line on the fresh water tank, as you drive down the road, about 1/4 of the full tank will slosh out the vent.
In order to prevent that, go down to a local boating supplier, and purchase a 180 degree vent line. It's a "U" shaped piece of pipe with a small vent hole at the top - used in boats for all their drain lines that discharge below the water line - to prevent siphoning
Put that in the vent line, mounted above the top of the fresh water tank, and your problem will be solved - you will arrive at your destination with exactly the same amount of water that you started with - every time

The small box with wires and circuit board is the control unit for the mid-coach macerator toilet.
The black tank is likely on the right, grey on left. Grey tank should be a little wider than black tank and yes they are both actually black in color.
The tank sending units are on the other end of the tank behind the wetbay.
The tank flush should be on the right tank (forwardmost tank) unless you also have a grey tank flush connection in your wetbay.

You think that the system(SilverLeaf) calculates the volume of water based on the pressure? That would be pretty slick.

I looked thru Comnet. It is a Silverleaf tank pressure sensor.

I am not sure...I cannot see your wiring enough but on my 2016 DutchStar there is a relay behind there as well which controls the lighting for the cargo bays. It can be a real hunt if you have problems with the lights and it is a bad relay.
Mine had fallen out of the socket and no lights would come on when any doors were opened. Spent a long time hunting for info finally found in these forums where the relay was.

In my very first pic i show a yellow wire that has been cut and capped. The yellow wire goes to terminal on the circuit board marked “FULL FLOAT”. Any ideas as to what this means and why would it be cut?

I went to the Dometic website and after reading the material on this toilet i may have answered my own question. Tell what you think.
Dometic has the ability to read a 3/4 full sensor and a full sensor. Perhaps Newmar chooses not use the full sensor for some reason?
