Behind the white wall in the wet bay

I'm hoping someone has tried this and can offer some advice.

My coach is a 2019 Ventana 4369.

I am trying to get to the "spaghetti" of pipes and tubes behind the white panel in my wet bay. See picture below.

I did a permanent installation of my water softener system, see picture below, and I need to tie into the pipes behind the white panel. I could tie in without removing the panel, but I'm afraid I might break something I can't see and it wouldn't look as nice as I would like.

If anyone has attempted removing the white board, I would love to hear how you did it. Pictures would help as well, if you have them.

Thank you.

It's just a slow process of disconnecting each item on the panel. Some have bought some of the white panel material and created a removable panel, after tearing it apart, so that pipes can be accessed more easily in the future.

If it’s anything like my Anthem, it’s a disaster behind there. I tore it all out and replumbed and rewired it like it should have been done. Probably 30 pounds lighter now and a lot easier to diagnose or repair if anything fails again. Good luck.

I like the idea of creating a removeable panel. I'll take a look and see how I can do that.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do, tear it out and re-do it. As an engineer I am having a hard time understanding how they even created that mess. It takes a lot of talent to come up with that configuration.

I will also have to come up with a way to supply the coach with water while I'm re-plumbing everything.

Behind the white wall in the wet bay

As Don said, it’s a matter of demounting all units and removing all valve handles on the wall, then removing the panel itself. Once off, you can see it all... where each line comes from and goes to, the drain lines , and all the tanks.
When you can see everything, take a while to get everything in your head. It all works just fine without the panel. After you’ve looked at it a few weeks you can easily rough out how you might want things arranged to make the whole setup make sense and work.
I had to remove mine a while back to replace an inlet fitting. Left it all out for better access. Now getting ready to replumb it, to include some manifolds to organize and allow for branch line shutoff valves. There will be no more full panel, just enough up high to mount the filter assembly and a few small other things. I will have full sight of and access to all the tanks (black, gray, and fresh), the drain line knife valves, water pump,.... everything.

I am in the process of upgrading my wet bay. I will use this Home Depot FRP board
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Glasline...9600/100389836

My original had cracked and was discolored plus remounting all components to add new valves and fittings. I did cut out the engraved lettering and will reuse them (likely) glued to the new board.

DSD has it right, removal is just taking a picture of everything, then taking everything off the board and removing it's screws (#2 square bit) and possibly removing valve handles and then remove the old board. If you are going to directly replace the board, then use it as a template to make cuts to the new board (assuming your aren't going to move stuff around like I am).

Most all of the hoses are Pex so get some pex hose and clamps and a pex clamp fastening tool from Home Depot too.

Whatever you decide, make sure you design it so the panel is easily removable to get back there in the future. I used a few push to connect fittings and male to female thread adapters to make things easier to remove if need be.

That’s what I used in mine. The floor on mine had some rot, so I replaced the floor with marine grade 3/4 plywood and also covered it with the aluminum.

I agree!
Had the same issues with supply line while redoing mine. Shut everything down during the day while working on it. At end of day, just made a temporary connection for showering and etc.
That’s the beauty of Pex. It’s so easy. Mine is a work still in progress. As We are full timning in it temporarily until we get the new house built.

My plan is to make the panel in 2 pieces that will overlap in the middle. A one piece panel is almost impossible to get in or out. Also if you have an issue, you don’t have to disconnect everything.
