I have a 2018 Baystar.

I’m looking for new chairs to replace my peeling fabric ones.

I have seen some new ones that are about the same as reupholstering mine with far less hassle and possibly better quality…?

Anyone recommend a captain chair supplier?

I’ve already tried getting things fixed by Newmar. That’s been a struggle as no one around here will do the repairs…

I know there is someone selling the fabric skins ready to go. I don't recall the info, maybe someone else has the information.

The other options, find an upholstery shop, even in another area and just make a trip out of it. It can be done in a day or so. Mine aren't that comfortable, if they ever need to be recovered and I couldn't get the skins, I will have a shop reconfigure the cushions to me and use quality material.

You can also buy new covers from Newmar parts and then have someone install them.

I will be following this as I got an estimate from Newmar for between $2400 and $2700 for each seat? That's just for the replacement covers not new seats.

Bauer used to work for Flex steel and has all the patterns. From any material your budget allows.

A new Captain's chair in Ultra Leather would run around $2500 with power equipment. 15 yards of Ultra Leather would do two captain chairs at $80 a yard, and anywhere from $900 to $1400 per chair to redo them. $600 in material and $1250 a chair is what I paid total, actually less. This way, all bolt patterns are the same. You can have the upholstery shop redo any foam for more support or more comfort. My chairs were Villa in my 2015 DSDP.

They will ship them to your location, of course, for an additional cost.

Here is an example of a Chair with options. You could use your original power pedestal instead of purchasing a new one.

I bought new captain's chairs from Bradd and Hall (link here). The model I bought was the Sawyer Slim (link here). If memory serves, in Ultraleather Brisa with the options I selected, and including shipping, it cost me about $1,750 per chair.

Another vote for Bradd and Hall. They replaced our couch in our Fleetwood and did a great job. I will say they are a little expensive but you get what you pay for.

We have a Ventana LE (less expensive) and call about adjusting the arms on the captain chairs. We were told to unzip the zipper on the bottom of the arms and there is a adjustment. We don't have a zipper and Newmar said that is a good and bad thing. Those are the less expensive captain chairs with cheaper material that doesn't peal.
