Big Summer Adventure - Log
We are about to embark on a 4,800 mile, 70 day, 19 stop trip. We depart AZ for CO on 5/26, then on to SD, WI, MI, IL, MO and then back to AZ.
We took delivery of the LA from NIRVC 8/2021. Since then we have put about 4,500 miles working through the expected punch list items, loading, weighing, getting a 21 Bronco ready for flat tow, adding Retrobands, driver and passenger window tinting, Pepwave cell wifi, setting up a functional office, bluefire and DEF emulator It has been quite a process, that was fun, interesting and frustrating at times. Big thanks to the team at NIRVC phoenix, this forum and Newmar for all the help in these interesting times.
I thought I would keep a trip log here. Fuel stops, Fuel Prices, RV parks, successes and failures and other general thoughts and experiences. Tune in if you like, comment, or ignore.
Thanks again for this wonderful community!
Respectfully
JD

I think it will be an interesting adventure, especially the fluctuating fuel prices. I would expect the lowest prices will be in MO. or SD with SD maybe cheaper if you can get fuel on one of the reservations. We travel from Ohio to SW Missouri often and I can tell you to avoid fueling in IL if at all possible. They will likely be the highest, but I hear CO. prices are high also. Enjoy and stay safe!

Yes, Good to have a 150 gallon tank/900 mile range to be a bit more strategic will fueling.

Scottsdale to Gallup
Today we started our trip. We departed NIRVC in Phoenix bound for Gallup NM for an overnight. 355 miles I17 and I40. Fueled in Gallup at the TA at 4.94/ gallon. Trip was uneventful. We are staying tonight at the USA Rv park in Gallup, good for a overnight at 37$ w/ good sam. Did not even drop the jacks, just air leveled. Looking forward to a beer and the basketball game tonight.
Coach vacuum does not want to turn on, investigation once it cools down a bit.
Tomorrow we are off to Pagossa Spring CO for 4 nights.

Gallup to Pagosa
Pretty easy 235 miles today. 7.2 mpg.
Arrived at Wolf creek run, space 17. Nice small class A park on the river.
Looking forward to 4 nights here and then on to Creede.
Oh, vacuum was a GFI. No other issues.
Thank you to all that serve and those that have!

Pagosa
Hiked to Silver Falls today and then continued on the road to quartz creek.
Hit City Market for food and gas in the Bronco
Front heated tiles are not heated suspect I need to find another GFI

Glad to hear you are having a great time in your London aire and we’re able to fix your vacuum. NIRVC will be here along your journey if you need any help. Safe travels.
If your floor heat is not operating, there are gfi outlets in the mid by the breaker panel. Could have one in the medicine cabinet in the mid bath and one under the rear bath sink. Check those to make sure they aren’t tripped.

Thanks! I reset two, mid and rear. Think there is a third somewhere or something else may need a control alt Del.
