BIM operating parameters

I am running a few tests to make sure the BIM is operating properly and isolating the house from chassis batteries. The BIM in our Kountry Star did not work and was replaced under warranty.

I read the Dutch Star manual and the Precision Circuits document on Newgle and still have a question.

Should the BIM isolate the house and chassis batteries at any level when not charging?

I have left the Coach unplugged, generator off and monitored the battery levels based on the KIB panel over the driver. I notice the house and chassis batteries will drain at the same rate and always be within 0.05V of each other. I have only gone down to 12.2v before plugging back in.

If there is only a house load should I expect to see the house drain down but the Chassis to remain higher (12.7v)?

Conversely, I noticed on a sunny day both the house and chassis batteries come up a bit. I am assuming that is from the small solar panel connected to the chassis battery charging both. Not what I expected

The should isolate below 12.7volts.

I would be looking in to how they wired the solar controller.
