BIRD relay issue

Hi everyone!

2012 Mtn Aire

Having a BIRD issue that I am trying to nail down.

- Chassis batteries are NOT charging from gen or shore
- House batteries ARE charging from gen and shore
- House batteries not charging while driving
- Boost button does boost the chassis batteries

I found the BIRD relay behind the cord reel. Curious if it’s the solenoid labeled BD Relay or the square box beside it that says Battery Isolation Manager.

Thoughts??

BD is battery disconnect, not your problem.

Battery isolation manager handles cross charging. The solenoid behind the BIM probably has burnt contacts. If handy open it up and clean them. It connects one battery bank to the other when it senses one charging.
