Black water sensor failed

Need help! 2018 4018 DS. The sensors on the black water tank has failed and the toilet flushing system is locked. Have flushed the tank numerous times with no luck, restarted the electrical part of the system, again no luck. We believe professional services will be necessary to fix the problem. We live in the Pensacola, FL area and will travel to wherever necessary to get this taken care of. Has anybody else had this problem. If so were you able to fix it yourself? Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

Filled the tank and then put some Dawn liquid in, and can only guess it ate away whatever was on the sensor. This was passed on to us from another tread.

Monthly 1/2 cup of DAWN into macerating toilets works wonders. Have done this on boats and RVs and never had an issue

You say first that flushing system is locked. Then you say flushed several times.
?
Since Dawn is a known grease cutter is that what is fouling the sensors? Anyone?

Is this technique only for macerating, or would all black tanks benefit from Dawn in a similar way?

-Asking for a friend.

Except during the winter when we'll stay 2-3 months at a site, we often move every week or two during the remainder of the year (we're full timers). We do the dawn with water in the blk tank typically every move or two (after flushing the blk tank). But.... about 1.5 months ago we filled the blk tank to 40% water with dawn, got the dreaded red light notice on the toilet flush panel and we're unable to flush the toilets when we stopped. Waited hours and the monitor still wouldn't drop below 85% full rating allowing us to flush even after emptying and rinsing the tank again. To make a long story short, I ended up cutting the yellow wire which is near the red wire on the Dolmetic Blk Box (see below) and this allowed us to flush both toilets. After cutting the yellow wire, the tank monitor still works and the yellow warning light on the flush panel still works when the blk tank reaches 75% full. We haven't taken the blk tank to 85% full to see if the red light on the flush panel goes on. We see no advantage at this point to reconnecting the yellow wire.
Our Dolmetic blk box is located in the bay where our outside TV is located on our 4328. Above our TV is a blk plastic panel which needs to be removed. On a DS 4369, "our TV" is located in the peg board storage bay. We have only 1 blk box and not 2 like a couple of Newmar techs reported.....
In hindsight, maybe used too much dawn? Who knows.
After our last dump just yesterday, it took a several hours for the blk tank monitor to drop down after dumping. The grey tank monitor still drops immediately.
Those who have flushing issues might consider cutting this yellow wire.

After dumping, I always put 1-2% in the tank......
Keeps sensor in liquid......before toilets operate.

The control board is located in your electric reel bay. Should be above the reel on the right side wall of the bay. You can pull the yellow wire and not have to cut site. The sensor is highly problematic. You will be able to flush.

The green control board is located on the right wall of the reel bay above the reel. Prior to cutting the yellow wire as I mentioned above, pulling this yellow wire at the "upper part" of the board didn't work for me....

We thought the problem had been solved, but the red light came back on. After rinsing several more times and using Dawn and sensor cleaner, ended up having to snip the yellow wire. As soon as it was cut, was able to flush. There does not appear to be a yellow wire behind the toilet in the half bath, so our next step is to remove the peg board and see if we can work it from there. Thank all of you again for your responses.

Just want to be sure where I’m looking and what I’m looking for to reset the black water sensor system. Someone mentioned there is a reset button behind the peg board located in the tool compartment. Is that correct? Don’t want to remove the shelve and peg board if that’s not where I should be looking. I expect at this point a call to North Trail Service may be in order. Don’t expect I’ll be able to get an appointment any time soon. I have an extended maintenance warranty if anyone knows of a reliable certified RV repair facility in the area. All thoughts are most appreciated.

There is no reset button on the black box (that's where you cut the yellow wire if it comes to that point). You could first try flushing the tank then waiting a while to see if that works, hitting the salesman switch then waiting a while and then pulling the yellow wire waiting like 10 seconds before reconnecting at the circuit board in the 50 amp reel bay mentioned above.
We will not reconnect the yellow wire I cut at the blk box.
