Blue DEF $12.99 Auto Zone Brand $10.99 WalMart $6.98

With all the different prices around on the 2.5 gal of DEF, are we getting what we pay for or are they really all the same?

Been using WM for 26,000 miles and no problem, so far anyway, but with all the DEF problems popping up just wondering about the quality of the DEF.

Been using the Walmart DEF for over 7 years with no problems. I just make sure when I open it that the seal is intact on the container.

I get Blue DEF at a farm supply store, 2 - 2 1/2 gal jugs in a box for $15.00.
Check farm supply stores for DEF.

We too have used Walmart def for 7 years. It meets Standards and have not had any issues.
Just finished 4800 mi trip. Only problem we had was quite a few Walmart’s were out of stock. Needed to purchase a jug of Blue Def at Pilot - bandits charged $
23.00 !

Yes, DEF at pumps is comparable to Walmart pricing. However, Newmar in their wisdom, located DEF tank on right side rear of my Ventana. Haven’t had the courage to enter the Truck lanes from the wrong direction to fill the DEF tank

If your heading to Glacier or Yellowstone the Coffee Cup Stations (truck stops) on I 90 sell DEF at the pump for $2.49 a gallon in Wyoming. Not sure of the price in South Dakota. It’s the best price I seen at the pump.
In NY a state it’s $3.39 a gallon.

I feel your pain. I had a 2013 Phaeton that was the same way. My current rig has it on the correct side. I used to carry an empty container to pump Def into when I filled at the truck pumps. But I usually used the WM brand too. I usually prefer the RV pumps when I can find them. I don't have to deal with trucker "attitude".

Glad I’ll never need this. I’ll spend whatever I have to to stay in pre emissions coaches.

Yes because 468 miles per gallon of DEF is just way too expensive
