Borg DuallyValves and Centramatics
I'm wondering if Centramatic Wheel Balancers and Borg DuallyValves can be used together. Does anyone have both installed. I have emailed both companies but no response yet.
Thanks!!
Jay

I had Centramatics on my previous coach and the rear fit neatly between the dual rims with plenty of room for the inside tire valve. Are you planning on replacing the existing inner tire extension as I don't really see any need to do that?

I have BorgDuallyvalves on my drive axle and their solid valve stems on the steer, even though I have TST internal sensors. Makes adjusting air pressure much easier. I also have Centramatic wheel balancers on all axles. There is no interference between the two. Am extremely happy with the set up.

Jay.....The longer valve stems will work fine with the Centramatics. The only thing I will add.....don't buy the Dually valves. They're outrageously priced. Most tire stores and truck stores will sell long metal stems in various lengths. Last time I bought the long ones for the inner dual, they were $11.00 each.
If you haven't purchased the Centramatics yet, the best price and fastest delivery is from Florida Shores Truck Center.

Don-yes Duallyvalves are expensive if bought thru Borg, but some tire stores (Les Schaub) sell them at a discount. A word of caution DuallyValve are a true valve stem and not just an extension and thus require the tire to be dismounted, a pain but eliminates the leaking potential of extensions.

Thanks for all the great info! My TST sensors don't work with the OEM extensions and I would prefer to eliminate valve extensions period. I know that DuallyValves are pricey...the reviews indicate the the $$ are worth it.
Thanks again.

Yes, they are pricey. But since installing life has been so much easier when airing tires and relying on the TPMS sensors.
I purchased here, shipping was much cheaper.

There's a set of brand-new DuallyValve stems for sale in the Classifieds/Accessories section that might fit...and at half the new price.
