Bought the Bay Star!

We recently received excellent advice on the Forums re: Bay Star vs Georgetown. After driving both we carried on with our research and price comparisons and found ourselves comparing virtually everything we saw to the 2009 Bay Star. One of our priorities was to find a quality unit in the smallest size. My work schedule is pretty random and we wanted a rig we could jump into for a weekend boon-docking or a cross-country adventure.
After a month of offers and counter-offers, everyone found a price they could live with and we drove home on January 24th in our 'new' 2009 Bay Star 2702!
We just returned from our 'maiden voyage', a four day winter extravaganza to Tofino, B.C. that saw us walking on Long Beach in +16ºc (60ºf) sunshine followed by a quick tour of North Vancouver Island before returning home to Comox.
Everything worked and functioned perfectly on our trip. We just love our new 'escape pod' that we hope will take us on many new adventures. Of course we will be relying heavily on members of the irv2 forums to help guide us!
Thanks again everyone and we hope to meet some of you out there on the road soon.

Congrats, you will love the quality and performance. Great looking MH, the color scheme is very similar to our Canyon Star. Good luck and happy safe travels.

Wow a escape pod. I love it. You will enjoy your purchase as we enjoy ours. There is nothing like driving a Newmar Bay Star. Ours is a 2903. Enjoy

Congrat!

I had the same model but 2012 with no major issue.

If I may suggest look at a 250$ investment and install a roadmaster steering stabilizer. A sort of yellow spring easily install in a flash.

It was the best addition I did to this coach. A 100% improvement for crosswind and passing trucks

Enjoy
