Brake Buddy model 39530 Dual Controller wiring Question

I am in the process of wiring my dual controller in the cab of my motorhome. The diagram I am including is pretty straight forward as to where the wires go. The question I have, do I have run the blue wire all the way to the back of my motorhome to the towing connector, or is there an alternate place I would be able to wire it to under the dash.

JMcG-

The blue wire is already there, that is, under the dash and at the hitch connector.

I believe these two adapters fit the Freightliner trailer electric brake controller connector. If you use them, you leave the connector intact, so you or the next owner can install a controller by "plug and play." I prefer this to cutting and splicing the factory wiring.

If your Ventana is on a Spartan chassis, let us know. There may be a similar adapter available.
