Brake warning light

Good Afternoon
I have a 1999 Dutchstar DP on a Freightliner chassis and I got it out of storage to do some service. I have a problem when I release the parking brake ( air) the brakes release but the PARK light stays on. Brakes operate just fine but the light on the dash stays on. I assume there is a pressure type switch tat when energized it turns the dash light off. I think it is the park brake warning sensor mod 882. I have the air piping diagram but I don't know where it is located. Any help with this will be most appreciated.
Thanks for your help and taking time to see this message.

Your 99 Freightliner chassis has two pressure switches related to the park brake function ; one for the light the second for the brake on in gear alarm.

Both are inside the drivers side frame rail above the LR air brake air pot .

Three wire pressure switch is for the in gear alarm , two wire is for the light.

NOTE! Many 99 Dutch Stars are on a 98 F/L chassis , my chassis was built in Feb of 99 .
Here's a picture of the switches and a wiring schematic for the 99 F/L chassis. Look for the highlighted section on one of the pages .
If your dash looks like the second picture you have a 99 chassis , these instruments were new on the production line Jan 04,1999.

Brake light warning light

Thanks for the quick replies
Thanks to Skip426 for the very detailed information. I think I have a 1998 chassis as in looking back some years back I had ti replace the brake chime warning switch and it looks like the brake light warning switch is located on the same valve as the chime switch. Thanks so much for the photo The piping diagram I have is for a 2000 model. (D12-18026)
Again Thanks for the info and have a wonderful day

Roy , you may be able to find the chassis build date on a Freightliner decal , low on the wall to the left of the drivers seat , just in front of the slide flange . Picture 1.
I'll assume you have the flat panel instrument cluster . Picture 2.
Here's wiring info I have for the 1998 chassis. Note the info is for chassis with Cummins and not Caterpillar .
