Braking system

After much research, have decided to purchase and install an Air Force one braking system. I feel that I could probably install this unit my self, however I am wintering in mesa az area and would like to have installed locally before returning to the Midwest (Iowa). Have a 2005 dsdp and a mkx toad. Does anyone know of a dealer in the mesa area that I could contact? Have not purchased the unit yet since I presume most dealers would be reluctant to install system if not purchased through them. Thanks in advance, Roger

Email AF1(smibrake)

I wrote a request for a purchasing or installing dealer to info@smibrake.com on a weekday evening and they had a list of local dealers back to me by 9 AM the next day. Or you can call them at 800-893-3763. Jason Foster from Customer Service was very helpful. I had my purchase complete within 48 hours and the installation within one week.

Yes, I'm very satisfied with the product. The only issue I have encountered in a year was the anchor of the actuating cable in my Jeep floorboard pulled out. I had it re-installed by my local mechanic with large washers on both sides of the floorboard using a bolt and self-locking nut. The original design was a self-tapping bolt with no nut. Guess I must have gotten on the MH air brakes pretty hard to make it pull out of the floorboard!
