Brand spankin new 2016 Ventana LE 3725

Well we did it. After over a year of research and shopping, we picked up our new motorhome two weeks ago. Did our first "shakedown" trip last weekend. Didn't drive far - only about 6 miles. Camped at a nice RV park in Palm Desert to test out connections and use the appliances. This is our first RV - we are total noobies. Everything went surprisingly well. Next up - freeway driving on a 2 hour trip. Plenty of trips ahead in preparation for the first big trip next summer - to Alaska, and back hopefully :-)

Congrats. You've demonstrated impecable taste by picking the best floor plan offered by Newmar

We owners of 3725 flour plans are a small but hardy lot. I'm sure they will chime in the greet you. If you were not aware the 3725 was only produced for one year, 2016. Newmar did make a 3625 that was similar. We picked ours up in June and she was the last one built. Have but 11,000 miles on her so far and really enjoy the floor plan.

Yep, don't know why but Newmar changes some models faster then Marcos changed shoes.

IMHO the 3725 is the best small Newmar floor plan for use while the slides are closed. So if you boondock where you can't deploy slides this model works well. A couple of 43-45' units are good also, but, living in the peoples republic of Kalifornia, the shorter than 40' units are more flexible to own. I think if they had swapped the couch and recliner positions the plan would be perfect. I may do this on my own some day.

Enjoy your coach and don't forget to write about your Alaska adventures on the forum.

Love our 3725!

Hi! Hooray, another one in the club! So far we only know of JMH and us. We picked up our coach in Nappinee doing a factory delivery, for us the only way to go. We have over 7,000 miles on it, have had minor issues which have been repaired to our satisfaction. We chose this coach because we wanted the shortest one with a king size bed as we like to stay in state parks. Best part so far...on this leg of our trip we're getting over 10mpg, AMAZING!!!

We just bought a 2017 Newmar Ventana #3709 at the Pomaona Show. We bought through Holland in Palm Desert. We have a house at Indian Springs in Indio. Glad you like yours. Did you go to Emerald Desert? We have our orientation on Fri. Pick up coach on Monday. 1st. trip will be to Pismo Coast RV up north in November. Drove an LE yesterday to get acquainted with diesel. Quiet! Very Quiet! Will be able to have a conversation with DW. Maybe someday we can get together and compare notes.

Yes, we bought through Holland, and went to Emerald Desert last weekend. Walk-through with Bruce @ Holland was very good, we thought. But since we are newbies we had no perspective. Only issue so far is there is some wind noise coming from driver's window. I've noted on this site quite a bit of discussion about this, and the debate about whether it is due to mirror placement or insufficient window seal. I'll do some investigating and experimenting to resolve myself before taking to back to dealer. Other than that, no issues so far. My first impression of Newmar QC is good.

Congrats from a fellow noob! Although everyone knows the 3709 is the better floorplan, I suppose you'll get by with the 3725. After three nights on the dealer lot, our first highway trip is tomorrow, headed to Tallahassee. That will be about 4-5 hours depending on how slow we go, good test for my endurance and comfort drive. Enjoy it, I know we are!
