We have the OEM DVD player in our 2016 Baystar Sport 2903. It worked in the walk-through and when we took it in for a check-up, but we can't get it to work ourselves. The DVD player has no lights on it so we can't even tell it's on unless you hold your hand on it and feel for vibrations. We've clicked every button on the Visio remote and the DVD remote. HELP! TV antennae works great but you can only watch so many 70's sitcoms and telenovelas before the kids go crazy.

did you tell the Visio to use the DVD player instead of the Antenna? There should be a menu item or button on the remote to switch input source.

On our previous Baystar, (2014) there was a switching box above the stereo receiver that you had to manually push a button to switch the feed over.

On my 2903 the dvd player went to the tv through the channel modulator built into the switch do you have to switch the tv to channel 3, then turn on the modulator and switch it to DVD.

This is of course silly, there should've been an HDMI cable run from the player to the TV, but it does allow you to see it in the back, of course you're running at 480i res at that point and not 1080p, which all the TV's are capable of. I replaced my player with a fairly cheap Sony BluRay player which supports networked play (Netflix, Amazon etc) and can play off a USB key (Media files) as well as blu-rays.

Then I used an IO Gear wireless HDMI rig to send the signal in 1080 to the rear TV, which also does IR control back, allowing me to control the unit from the bedroom. Then I removed the front TV and drilled a hole through the cabinet between the TV and the player to run an HDMI cable there as well.

I just brought home a 2016 2903 this weekend Our's has a separate hand held controller for the DVD. Push the buttons for the DVD for the TV you want to display, or all, and the use the hand held controller for the DVD.
